BARRY JOUANNET returned to winning ways with victory over Simon Whitlock in the Wagga Classic Australian Grand Prix event at the weekend.
Jouannet, who has twice qualified for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship, was in top form to claim the $1,000 first prize.
He edged out Whitlock 7-6 in a deciding leg shoot-out in the final, with the latter coming from 4-2 down to level matters before taking the match to the final leg.
Whitlock currently heads the standings for the Australian Grand Prix, having also won the Wild Bull AGP event on Saturday in Wagga Wagga.
