FOLLOWING the conclusion of the Betway Premier League, focus now turns to the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters, which begins on Wednesday.
The first of the year's international World Series of Darts events will see an eight-player field competing on May 24-25 at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
Following Michael van Gerwen's victories in the opening three years of the event from 2013-2015, the Dutchman lost out in last year's final to Gary Anderson in Dubai.
The pair will be in action in next week's event, alongside Thursday's Premier League runner-up Peter Wright - who won his first TV title at March's UK Open and was also a finalist in Dubai three years ago.
The legendary Phil Taylor will make his final appearance in the tournament before his retirement at the end of the year, with the 56-year-old aiming to taste glory in Dubai for the first time.
Five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld - the 2013 runner-up to Van Gerwen in Dubai - and Premier League stars Dave Chisnall and James Wade are joined in the field by UK Open finalist Gerwyn Price, the Welsh ace who will be making his World Series debut.
The quarter-finals on Wednesday May 24 will see the top four ranked players drawn against the other four stars in the unique open-air setting of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
The tournament then concludes with the semi-finals and final on Thursday May 25.
Tickets for the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters are available through www.dubai-darts.com.
UK Television coverage will be through ITV4 from 6pm BST on Wednesday May 24 and 7pm BST on Thursday May 25.
