Ally Pally Countdown Underway

THE countdown is on to the start of the William Hill World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace on Thursday December 17.

The sport's biggest tournament will see 72 players competing across the Christmas and New Year period, live on the Sky Sports Darts channel.

With just ten days to go until the William Hill World Darts Championship kicks off, the stars of the event are continuing their preparations for their preliminary and first round games before Christmas.

Following record ticket sales, the William Hill World Darts Championship has almost sold out - however a small number of tickets remain for sale through SeeTickets, Viagogo and for the Hospitality Packages - click here for full details.

The latest betting odds are available through the William Hill website - and follow William Hill's World Championship Countdown & Special Offers on Twitter.

The tournament will be screened live on the Sky Sports Darts channel - Sky Channel 407 - which will launch on Monday December 14 at 6am GMT.

All sessions will be simulcast on Sky Sports 1, 2 or 3, while the Sky Sports Darts channel will also feature exclusive interviews and archive footage from some of darts' greatest games.
