BRAD PHILLIPS completed a Junior Darts Corporation double with victory in the year's second Modus UK Junior Darts Tour event in Worcester on Saturday.
Phillips had been victorious in the opening JDC tournament in Dorchester during February, and continued his superb start to 2018 with victory in Event Two.
Phillips was made to work hard during the latter stages, going to a deciding leg against James Foster and and Lennon Cradock before seeing off Mitchell McCarthy 4-2 in the semi-finals.
He then overcame Jordan Ward 5-1 in the final to pick up his second successive win of the year.
Ward edged through a seven-leg semi-final with Alfie Jacques, and whitewashed Mitchell Leeming, Anthony Richardson, Kieran Ford and Kyle Manton on his way through the event.
