JERMAINE WATTIMENA secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Michael Barnard in round two of the 2018/19 William Hill World Darts Championship.
Competing in his fifth successive World Championship, rapid-firing Dutchman Wattimena outscored Barnard and despite missing 22 doubles was always in control of the match.
Barnard missed a dart for the opening set, allowing Wattimena to pin double five to take an early lead, before doubling his advantage with three 17-dart legs.
Wattimena, who recently broke into the world's top 32 for the first time, took the last set without conceding a leg to advance to round three where he will face two-time World Champion Gary Anderson.
