JAMES WADE produced a sensational comeback from 3-1 down to defeat Keegan Brown 4-3 in the third round of the William Hill World Darts Championship.
Former World Youth Champion Brown got off to a flying start, winning deciding legs in the opening two sets to take a commanding 2-0 lead.
Three-time semi-finalist Wade notched his first set on the board to halve the deficit, before Brown stormed the fourth set without losing a leg to regain his two-leg cushion.
A resilient Wade took the next set 3-0 to go back within a set, and followed it up by edging the sixth set 3-2 to take the tie to a deciding set.
The pair exchanged breaks of throw to make it 2-1 to Wade in the decider, and the nine-time televised title winner hit a trademark 101 finish to seal a special victory.
