A HOST of further players have been confirmed to compete in the 2019 BetVictor World Cup of Darts ahead of June's tournament in Hamburg.
The World Cup of Darts will see 32 nations competing from June 5-8 at the Barclaycard Arena, with the two-player teams competing in a series of Doubles and Singles matches.
Further to March's confirmation of the participating nations, a number of other countries have now confirmed their representatives.
With three weekends now completed on the PDC Asian Tour, the pairings for four nations have been confirmed.
Asian Tour Order of Merit leader Royden Lam will be partnered by Kai Fan Leung for Hong Kong.
Second-placed Seigo Asada is joined in the Japanese team by experienced Haruki Muramatsu, while the Philippines are represented by the players ranked third and fifth, Lourence Ilagan and Noel Malicdem.
Veteran star Paul Lim, who sits fourth on the Asian Tour rankings, once again teams up with Harith Lim for Singapore.
Andrea Micheletti and Stefano Tomassetti came through the qualifier in Italy to team up, while Janos Vegso won the Hungarian qualifier and will partner Pal Szekely, who makes his European Tour debut in Zwolle in May.
Vernon Bouwers will partner Devon Petersen in the South African team after winning through the Last Man Standing qualifier.
Haupai Puha will make his World Cup debut representing New Zealand alongside Cody Harris as the leading player from the DPNZ rankings.
Karel Sedlacek, a European Tour quarter-finalist in Munich on Monday, will partner Pavel Jirkal for the Czech Republic, while Greek ace John Michael again teams up with Veniamin Symeonidis.
Further competing teams for the BetVictor World Cup of Darts will be confirmed following the cut-off in mid-May.
The 2019 BetVictor World Cup of Darts will be held at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany. Tickets are available now through PDC Europe.
