Peter Wright remains top of the World Series of Darts Order of Merit, while Damon Heta is up to joint-third following the Brisbane Darts Masters.
Despite suffering a first round defeat to Kyle Anderson, German Darts Masters champion Wright leads the way, with Brisbane runner-up Cross leading the chasing pack.
Heta's incredible title victory puts him level on points with US Darts Masters winner Nathan Aspinall, while Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson have work to do to finish in the top eight.
Two events remain on this year's World Series of Darts - the Melbourne Darts Masters (August 16-17) and the NZ Darts Masters (August 23-24).
The top eight players on the World Series of Darts Order of Merit following the Hamilton event will be seeded for the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam in November.
