Jim McEwan and Adam Smith-Neale shared victories in Saturday's second day of action on the PDC Unicorn UK Challenge Tour in Milton Keynes.

Ayrshire's McEwan, 54, defeated Friday's Event Two winner Jim Williams 5-4 to take the Event Three title and pick up his first PDC victory.

Williams hit back from 3-1 down to take the final all the way, but was unable to check out 108 in the deciding leg as McEwan stepped in to claim the £2,000 title.

The Scot impressed throughout Event Three, averaging 100 in a win over Carl Wilkinson and over 97 in defeats of Steve Hine, Aden Kirk and Colin Osborne - seeing off the former UK Open runner-up 5-1 in the semi-finals.

Smith-Neale, the 2018 World Masters champion and a winner on the PDC's Development Tour nine years ago, followed up his run to Friday's Event Two final by going all the way this time around.

He won eight games to claim the Event Four title, including a victory over Williams to avenge Friday's loss in the Event Two final, and also defeated Anastasia Dobromyslova.

Smith-Neale then raced into a 4-0 lead in the final against Carlin, who hit back with 13-darter only for a 96 finish for a 14-dart leg to seal the £2,000 title.

Derry's Carlin, a former PDC Tour Card Holder, ended Robert Thornton's hopes of Event Four glory in the semi-finals and also defeated Scott Baker, Prakash Jiwa and Keelan Kay on his way to the final.

Sunday sees the UK Challenge Tour weekend conclude with another double-header of £2,000 tournaments at the Marshall Arena.

Welshman Williams leads the UK Challenge Tour Order of Merit with £3,300 following four events, ahead of Smith-Neale (£3,200), Event One winner Darren Beveridge (£2,350) and McEwan (£2,200).
