JIM MOSTON and Maikel Verberk will contest the Junior Darts Corporation's 2016 Grand Final at Alexandra Palace later this month after winning through to the decider on the final JDC weekend of the year.
A weekend of darts at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Essex began as Jarred Cole win Event Six of the Modus UK Junior Darts Tour.
The "Super Saturday" then saw the year's six event winners joined by qualifiers from the JDC Order of Merit and JDC Academy Order of Merit play in the early stages of the Grand Final.
The semi-finals saw Stoke's Moston - who won September's Junior European Championship - defeat Tyler Radlett to secure his place in the final, with Dutch teenager Verberk overcoming Adam Howard.
Moston and Verberk will now play the final on stage at Alexandra Palace on Saturday December 17 for the right to succeed Josh Richardson as JDC Champion.
Sunday saw the weekend conclude with the inaugural JDC Q School, with Adam Paxton, Alex Gurr and John Brown winning a PDPA Scholarship to compete on the 2017 PDC Unicorn Development Tour.
Brown, the son of established PDC star and JDC chairman Steve Brown, has already shown his talents in 2016 by reaching the quarter-finals of the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship.
