MICHAEL VAN GERWEN has been presented with the Dutch equivalent of an MBE.
The world number one became the youngest person to receive the prestigious medal as a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau by the Mayor, on behalf of the King.

Fellow Dutch darts legend Raymond Van Barneveld also received the honour in 1999.
Since switching to the PDC in 2007, Van Gerwen has racked up an astonishing 41 televised titles, including five televised nine-dart finishes, along with 64 non-televised PDC titles.
The two-time World Champion now has his sights set on adding to his three Premier League crowns at The O2 on May 17.
