TED EVETTS is the early leader on the 2019 Unicorn Development Tour Order of Merit following the first four events of the year in Wigan on Saturday and Sunday.
Evetts enjoyed a double title success at the Robin Park Tennis Centre, claiming victory at Events One and Four, while Nathan Rafferty and Ryan Meikle came out on top at Events Two and Three respectively.
As a result, five-time Development Tour title winner Evetts tops the Order of Merit, while Northern Irish youngster is second after making the final of Event One in addition to his win.
The Development Tour, for players aged 16-23, will see 20 tournaments split across five double-header weekends in 2019, which will be followed by the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship.
At the conclusion of 20 Events the top two players will receive an invitation to the 2019/20 World Championship along with a PDC Tour Card for 2020/2021, with the players from third to eighth receiving free entry to the 2020 PDC Qualifying School (if they do not already possess a Tour Card).
