Canadian pair Matt Campbell and Jeremiah Millar both picked up titles as the 2019 Championship Darts Corporation Tour continued in Chicago last weekend.
Competing in just his second CDC tour event of the year, Millar took Saturday's Event Seven by storm with three 90-plus averages in his opening four games, including a 100.2, to reach the semi-finals.
There, Millar overcame Canadian World Cup quarter-finalist Jim Long 6-3 to reach the final where he survived match darts to edge out Campbell 6-5 and claim his first CDC title.
Campbell, who landed his first CDC win in June, recovered from the previous day's disappointment by dropping just three legs in three games to reach another quarter-final.
Two further strong displays saw Campbell get the better of last year's CDC table-topper Chuck Puleo and Jason Brandon, before claiming a 6-3 win over Kiley Edmunds in the final to move into second place on the CDC Order of Merit behind Darin Young.
The fields for last weekend's events also included John Part, Larry Butler, Young and Jeff Smith.
The 2019 Championship Darts Corporation Tour concludes with Events Nine and Ten in Philadelphia from September 14-15.
