Nathan Aspinall will miss the remainder of PDC Super Series 4 after testing positive for Covid-19, with Keane Barry also leaving the events.
Aspinall, along with all other competing players, had returned a negative test result on arrival in Milton Keynes on Sunday.
However, the former UK Open champion reported symptoms of Covid-19 to the PDC's Welfare Officer overnight on Monday and has subsequently received a positive result to a further test.
He will now return to his home in Stockport to commence a period of self-isolation and will play no further part in this week's Players Championship events.
Ireland's Barry, meanwhile, will also miss the remaining three days of action having been a close contact of Aspinall's on Monday, when the pair met in the first round of Players Championship 13.
As a result, Tuesday's Players Championship 14 will now feature 126 players.
