The 2023 PDC Women’s Series resumes this weekend, as the race for Women’s World Matchplay qualification reaches its climax in Germany.
The third weekend of 2023 Women’s Series action will see Events 9-12 take place in Hildesheim on June 24-25, as the sport’s leading stars compete for a place in next month’s Women’s World Matchplay.
The second edition of the Betfred Women’s World Matchplay will see eight players competing in a knockout tournament on the afternoon of Sunday July 23, after Fallon Sherrock lifted the inaugural title in Blackpool 12 months ago.
The top eight players on the PDC Women’s Series Order of Merit following Event 12 will seal their place in next month’s Winter Gardens showpiece, which will be televised live on Sky Sports.
Beau Greaves has already confirmed her place in the £25,000 event following her remarkable success on the Women’s Series over the last year, with Japanese trailblazer Mikuru Suzuki also poised to make her Blackpool bow.
Reigning champion Sherrock and four-time Women’s World Champion Lisa Ashton are also in the provisional qualification places, alongside last year’s runner-up Aileen de Graaf.
Lorraine Winstanley occupies the eighth and final spot on the provisional Order of Merit, and with over 70 entries already confirmed, it promises to be a decisive weekend at Halle 39.
The expansion of the PDC Women’s Series in 2023 will see 24 events held across six weekends, including a total prize fund of £240,000 - doubling the prize money per event to £10,000.
The top two players from the final PDC Women's Series Order of Merit will qualify to compete in the 2023/24 World Darts Championship, alongside the winner of the 2023 Betfred Women's World Matchplay.
Entry, costing £25 per event, is still available through the PDC Entry System. Entries for Events 9-12 close at 1400 BST on Thursday June 22.

Events 9-10 will take place on Saturday June 24, before Events 11-12 round off the weekend’s action on Sunday June 25, with live coverage streamed on PDCTV.
