A place in the 2024 Bet365 US Darts Masters will be on offer as the CDC Cross-Border Darts Challenge returns in April.

The 16-player event will be held on April 21-22 2023 at Uptown Social, Michigan City’s premier historic entertainment venue, as eight American and eight Canadian stars compete for a minimum of $12,000 in prize money.

In addition, the champion will receive a place amongst the North American Representatives in the PDC's US Darts Masters event at Madison Square Garden, New York from May 31-June 1.

The invitational event will be the commencement of the 2024 action on the Championship Darts Circuit tour, and is set to feature the likes of Jules van Dongen, Stowe Buntz and David Cameron.

The Cross-Border Darts Challenge will see the American players drawn against their Canadian counterparts for the first round on Friday April 12.

The tournament will then conclude on Saturday April 13 with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final, with the Nations Cup awarded to the country with the most match wins in the tournament.

“We’re excited to work with Uptown Social and the City of Michigan City to bring this headline event to fantastic new home,” said Peter Citera, CEO of Championship Darts Corporation.

“The rich history and intimate nature of Uptown Social is the ideal backdrop to showcase our players and the top darts competition North America has to offer.”

Tickets for the Cross-Border Darts Challenge start at $22.50 plus applicable fees and are on sale at ticketsource.us/champdarts.

VIP ticket-holders will have exclusive access to a Friday afternoon pre-tournament reception to meet players, including three-time World Champion John Part and Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finalist Buntz.

The Cross-Border Challenge kicks-off the tenth year of the Championship Darts Circuit – North America’s professional darts tour - which will see 14 ProTour events take place across five weekends of action from May to September.

The 2024 Championship Darts Corporation season begins with the return of the CDC Cross-Border Darts Challenge on April 12-13, as the top-ranked players from United States and Canada compete in a unique singles competition.

The first two CDC ProTour events of the year will then take place in Brownsburg, Indiana from May 17-19, on a weekend which will also feature qualifying events for the bet365 US Darts Masters and the North American Championship.

This will be followed by further events from July 13-14, before the third weekend of CDC Main Event action takes place between August 3-4.

The penultimate weekend of the Championship Darts Circuit will see the next stage of ProTour events held from August 23-25, before the campaign concludes from September 20-22.

Following the conclusion of next year's CDC ProTour action, the CDC Continental Cup will round off the 2024 season on October 18-19, as the top 16 players on the Order of Merit following Event 14 battle it out for the coveted title.

Each CDC ProTour weekend will be streamed live through PDCTV for all subscribers worldwide.
