The 2024 PDC Women’s Series reaches its climax this weekend, as the biggest names in the women’s game compete for places in the Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts and Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
Leicester’s Mattioli Arena will play host to Events 21-24 on October 19-20 in the crucial final weekend in the race for Grand Slam and World Darts Championship qualification.
Women’s World Matchplay champion Beau Greaves has already secured top spot on the Women’s Series Order of Merit, scooping seven titles in 2024 to continue her monopoly of the women’s game.
The 20-year-old will headline this weekend’s action in the East Midlands, with Noa-Lynn van Leuven, Fallon Sherrock, Mikuru Suzuki and Lisa Ashton also set to feature.
With Greaves having already qualified for the World Championship by winning the Women’s World Matchplay, there are still two qualification spots available this weekend, with the top two players behind Greaves on the Women's Series Order of Merit set to book their places at Alexandra Palace.
Dutch star Van Leuven appears poised to make her World Championship debut in December, claiming a hat-trick of titles in 2024 and reaching a further three finals to establish a £2,200 lead over Sherrock, who occupies third position in the Order of Merit.
Sherrock leads Japanese trailblazer Suzuki by £1,100, with former PDC Tour Card Holder Ashton a further £700 adrift in fifth position, despite claiming back-to-back Women’s Series titles in June.
There is also a place in November's Grand Slam of Darts up for grabs this weekend, with Van Leuven currently in pole position to join Greaves in the 32-player field at Wolverhampton's WV Active Aldersley.
Entries for the PDC Women's Series, costing £25 per event, are still available through the PDC Entry System. Entries close at 1400 BST on Thursday October 17.
