Unprecedented opportunities coming up for non-Tour Card holders

Non-PDC Tour Card holders will have more opportunities than ever before to compete in PDC events from December to March, starting with this week's Paddy Power World Darts Championship.

The 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship gets underway on Sunday, with 28 non-PDC Tour Card holders from around the world competing at Alexandra Palace.

Just three days after the conclusion of the World Championship, Qualifying Schools will take place in Milton Keynes, England and Kalkar, Germany as players compete to win PDC Tour Cards for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

A week later, the opening weekend of the Winmau Challenge Tour takes place in Milton Keynes, as players who did not win Tour Cards at Q Schools compete in five events across three days - top ranked players from the Challenge Tour Order of Merit will be called up as top-up players for Players Championship events throughout the year.

The revamped Winmau World Masters will take place at the end of January, with the Preliminary Rounds - featuring non-Tour Card holders from around the world - taking place on Wednesday January 29.

February sees the opening weekend of the Winmau Development Tour take place, as players ages 16-24 compete in five events across three days.

Non-Tour Card holders will get a chance to secure their place in the 2025 Ladbrokes UK Open through a series of events to be held in January and February. In a change to previous years, qualifying events will be staged in four PDC in the Community venues alongside two days of standalone Amateur Qualifiers being held by the PDC.

The 2025 Ladbrokes UK Open will see 160 players compete at Butlin's Minehead Resort from February 28-March 2.
