Gordon Mathers will make his return to the Paddy Power World Darts Championship in December after winning Sunday's DPA Oceanic Masters.
Australian ace Mathers has previously competed three times in the World Championship, and will end a three-year wait to return to the Alexandra Palace stage.
Mathers, 43, enjoyed straight-sets 2-0 wins over Brian Corbett and Craig Caldwell in his opening two matches, before enjoying a trio of 3-1 victories on his way to the title.
He saw off New Zealand's Mark Cleaver in the quarter-finals and then overcame emerging youngster Jaymie Hilton-Jones in the semis.
After losing the final's opening leg, Mathers won six in a two to open up a two-set lead, with Kemp taking the third in a decider before the Queenslander wrapped up victory by taking the fourth 3-1.
"I knew I had to take my chances in the final and I did just that," said Mathers. "I am pleased to have won and am looking forward to the end of the year.
"I have been there before and know what it is all about. I am ready to go and play and am really excited by the prospect."
Mathers joins DPA Order of Merit winner Joe Comito and DPNZ Qualifier Ben Robb in travelling from Down Under to compete in the World Darts Championship.
