THE Professional Darts Corporation has suspended Jason Clark from forthcoming tournaments.
The PDC have received a number of complaints over Jason Clark's conduct at the PDC's Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday.
These have been passed to the Darts Regulation Authority, and the PDC Board of Directors has decided to suspend Jason Clark until the matter is resolved.
As such, he has been withdrawn from Sunday's Blue Square UK Open North-East Regional Final in Gateshead, with his opponent Eddie Lovely receiving a bye due to the rules of the tournament.
PDC Chairman Barry Hearn said: "It is always tough to take this course of action, but the PDC Board of Directors are committed to upholding the highest possible standards of conduct from our players."
As the matter is now in the hands of the Darts Regulation Authority, the PDC will be making no further comment.
Jason Clark had been inducted into the PDC's Nine-Dart Club at the Awards Dinner, following his perfect leg in December's PartyPoker.net German Darts Championship.
He is ranked 45th in the PDC Order of Merit, and was a second round loser to Raymond van Barneveld in the recent Ladbrokes.com PDC World Darts Championship.
