THE BATTLE to qualify for the 2018 Unibet European Championship remains tight heading into the final six European Tour events of the year.
The European Championship will take place at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund from October 25-28, and will feature the leading 32 players from the European Tour Order of Merit after 13 events played across the continent this year.
Last weekend's Gibraltar Darts Trophy marked the passing of the half-way stage on this year's tour, with a number of players performing well and pushing their way up the European Tour Order of Merit.
Adrian Lewis enjoyed a run to his first European Tour final in almost six years, while Paul Nicholson won through to his first PDC ranking semi-final in five years.
The European Tour continues with the Danish Darts Open in Copenhagen, Denmark from June 22-24 and will be broadcast throughout the weekend for PDCTV-HD Subscribers, and through a series of bookmakers' websites worldwide.
