A second new destination for the World Series of Darts has been confirmed for 2020, with the Nordic Darts Masters to be held at Forum Copenhagen on June 12-13.
Following the recent announcement that the U.S. Darts Masters will be held in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, next year will also see the Danish capital Copenhagen welcome the world's top players.
The Forum Copenhagen arena will host the Nordic Darts Masters event across two days as eight leading PDC stars face off against eight players from across Scandinavia.
The tournament will be held across three sessions, with the first round on Friday June 12 followed by the quarter-finals in the afternoon session on Saturday June 13, with the semi-finals and final in the evening session.
The Nordic Darts Masters is being staged in conjunction with Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group), who are the region's leading streaming company.
"Bringing the world's best darts players to Copenhagen for the spectacular Nordic Darts Masters will attract huge attention from fans in Denmark and beyond," said Kim Mikkelsen, NENT Group Head of Sport.

Copenhagen has successfully staged PDC European Tour events in 2018 and 2019, and joins the list of global destinations for the World Series of Darts circuit.

Tickets for the Nordic Darts Masters will be sold through Ticketmaster.
Alongside the U.S. Darts Masters (June 5-6) and Nordic Darts Masters, the PDC have also confirmed the staging of the NZ Darts Masters at Hamilton's Claudelands Arena on August 21-22.
Further PDC World Series of Darts events will be confirmed in due course.
