The field for the 2020 Ladbrokes UK Open has been confirmed ahead of next month's event at the Butlin's Minehead Resort from March 6-8.
The unique multi-board tournament sees PDC Tour Card Holders joined in competing across three days by a series of Rileys Amateur Qualifiers and players from the 2019 PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour and Development Tour.
Reigning champion Nathan Aspinall will enter at the fourth round stage on Friday March 6, and is joined in the PDC's top 32 by former winners Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Gary Anderson, James Wade and Adrian Lewis.
2012 UK Open champion Robert Thornton and 2007 finalist Vincent van der Voort are amongst the players ranked from 33-64 on the PDC Order of Merit who will come in at the third round stage.
Former World Championship finalist Kirk Shepherd and 2005 UK Open runner-up Barrie Bates will be in action in the second round, with the first round featuring the remaining PDC Tour Card Holders and the 32 qualifiers.
Lisa Ashton and Rileys Qualifier Fallon Sherrock will spearhead the women's challenge in the UK Open, while former Grand Slam of Darts champion Scott Waites makes his first UK Open appearance since competing as an amateur in 2008.
Tour Card Holder Boris Krcmar has withdrawn due to a prior commitment. Under PDC Rule 3.6 he has been replaced by the next available non-qualified player from the 2019 Development Tour Merit Table (as all other Tour Card Holders are already qualified), who is Ben Cheeseman.
The opening three rounds will take place in the afternoon session on Friday March 6, with the top 32 entering at the fourth round stage in the evening session in Minehead.
The draw for the first three rounds of the Ladbrokes UK Open will be made on Monday February 24.
