Dimitri Van den Bergh will begin the defence of his Betfred World Matchplay title against Devon Petersen.

The 2025 Betfred World Matchplay will take place from July 19-27 at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

The iconic summer tournament will see 32 of the world's top stars battling it out across nine days for the Phil Taylor Trophy and £800,000 in prize money.

The tournament will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK, through the PDC's worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay, and on PDCTV (excluding subscribers based in the UK, Germany, Austria & Switzerland).
