GARY ANDERSON has withdrawn from the Unibet World Grand Prix and will be replaced in the field by Mark Webster.
World number two Anderson, last year's beaten finalist in the double-start event in Dublin, will remain at home in Somerset ahead of the impending birth of his second child with partner Rachel.
Following Anderson's withdrawal, under PDC Rule 3.7 the Scot is replaced by Mark Webster, who was the next non-qualified player from the PDC Order of Merit, from which the Scot had qualified.
Webster is a direct replacement for Anderson in the draw bracket, meaning that the Welshman will take on Richard North in Monday's first round in Dublin.
Webster was a semi-finalist in the World Grand Prix two years ago on his most recent appearance in the double-start format, and also reached the quarter-finals on his debut in 2011.
